Thanks to the Community Foundation of Lethbridge and Southwestern Alberta

This past spring the Cardston High School Cougar Band was so very fortunate to be awarded a $7500 grant to help revitalize our ageing fleet of instruments. We used the money to buy new cases, mouthpieces, and some very extensive repairs on 3 of our tubas. There was also a little money left over to buy a few mouthpieces for other instruments, and to buy a few marching drums to add to our new CHS Cougar Drumline.

We are very grateful for these funds, and because of the repairs we were able to do, these tubas should last another 30 years. Thank you to all who run the Community Foundation of Lethbridge and Southwestern Alberta. The work you do makes a big difference in the lives of people all over Southern Alberta!
