NEW ATTENDANCE POLICY

Hello Parents and Students,

This year we are implementing a new ATTENDANCE POLICY. 

Nothing impacts academic success more than attendance. Please take a minute to review this policy and understand what it means. 

Here is a brief summary of what the policy looks like for semester one.

In a 5 credit course the following actions will be taken if students are FAILING and NOT ATTENDING:

• 5 Days - Student will meet with the Principal
• 8 Days - Student and parent will meet with the Principal
• 10 Days - Student and parent will meet with the Principal
• 12 Days - Student and parent will meet with the Principal
• 14 Days - Student will be removed from class and be put into a CTS course to work on earning credits.

In a 3 credit course the following actions will be taken if students are FAILING and NOT ATTENDING:

• 3 Days - Student will meet with the Principal
• 5 Days - Student and parent will meet with the Principal
• 7 Days - Student and parent will meet with the Principal
• 9 Days - Student will be removed from class and be put into a CTS course to work on earning credits.
